Do I need Professional Images to Apply To Model Agencies

In short, No....
We always like new applicants to apply with snapshots. These must be very natural, with little or no makeup and good lighting (preferably natural light) . We will not consider applications where filters or editing tools have been used.
We are aware of a few companies - model platforms and photography studios - which have been advertising that they can take your portfolio images for you and that you can use them with professional model agencies. This is rarely the case. These companies usually overcharge and rarely take images to the standard that an agency needs.
We are not affiliated in any way with any company that offers these services.
Always apply to reputable model agencies first and then take their advice regarding portfolio images.
