Chloe is having a great week here at Mentor Model Agency. Just this week she has been confirmed for a photoshoot with MandM Direct and a casting for 24Studio. We have asked Chloe to tell us a few things about modelling, she has some great advice for those wanting to get into the industry:
What do you like best about modelling ?
I enjoy having my hair and make up done and I get paid for it. Sometimes I get to wear really cool clothes too.
What has been your favourite shoot and why?
I really enjoyed a catalogue shoot I did for JD Williams. The studio was set out like a festival with a cute caravan and bales of hay. I was asked to eat cakes, drink milk, dance, laugh and pretend I was just having fun whilst having my pictures taken (except I didn't have to pretend!). The camera man was really funny too.
What is the strangest shoot you have done?
I went to a big building not sure what to expect. We went inside and it was all dressed up like Christmas in September. I had to pretend I had a little brother mum and dad. The strangest thing was they had made a full Christmas dinner that we couldn't eat as they had glazed it but we pretended too. It was like it was real.
How do you pick a model agent?
My mum does that she's like my manager. We look at the pictures and see what we think looks best. I have been with a few agencies in the past but I love Mentor Models as I get lots of work. My mum says they give us lots of advice and they are friendly when I'm not sure about something.
Whats the most exciting place you have spotted yourself?
I went in to The Entertainer toy shop and found myself on a Galt bracelet set box. My mum let me buy it. I was on the front back and on the instruction leaflet.
What qualities do children who want to be a model need?
The child must be confident and chatty as you meet lots of new people. Castings can be like a job interview. They need to be smiley. They need to be good and take orders. They need to not get bored easily and have good manners.
